Mountain Modern

Spaces should feel collected, luminous, and deeply personal. My work blends modern warmth with artistic storytelling - layering texture, light, material and memory to create interiors that feel both elevated and lived in.

Collected Comfort

A dramatic renovation that transformed a dated mountain interior into a warm, light-filled retreat.

Centered around a soaring great room, the redesign emphasized natural textures, layered materials, and contemporary livability while preserving the home’s architectural character..

The Settings Residence Before

Comprehensive redesign of a soaring mountain great room, balancing contemporary refinement with the home’s original architectural character and natural stone focal point.

Existing spatial challenges, including an intrusive built-in media enclosure that disrupted circulation and sight lines, were thoughtfully reworked to create a cleaner architectural rhythm and more intentional use of the great room volume.

Mary Briden is an interior designer and artist with a passion for creating spaces that feel both refined and deeply personal. Drawing form a background in visual art, storytelling and residential design, she brings a layered, thoughtful approach to every project.

Her work blends timeless furnishings, organic textures, and curated details to create interiors that are elegant, welcoming, and meant to be lived in beautifully. Mary believes exceptional design is not only about aesthetics, but about creating environments that foster comfort, connection, and a sense of home.
